Situated around 16 kilometres west of the Newcastle CBD lies Cameron Park – a relatively new suburb, having first been developed around the year 2000.

Cardiff was first established as a coal mining town in the late 19th century, but transitioned over time from a primarily industrial area to a residential one, and now provides some of the region’s most affordable housing opportunities while being only minutes to Lake Macquarie.

Lake Macquarie, larger than Sydney Harbour, has 174 kilometres of foreshore providing little sandy lake beaches, hidden coves and secluded bays.

Southern Lake Macquarie spans the areas from Belmont to Swansea Heads, and features a number of small beaches and quiet villages where the lake connects to the Pacific Ocean.

With a major push for growth, the areas of Wallsend, Maryland and Fletcher have continued to grow with the latter becoming home to million dollar plus properties in the new estates.
