Plan an action-packed night out in Warners Bay
If you’re looking to spice up your social life, whether it be a date night out or some fun for the whole family, forget the standard movie and dinner idea and head to the Warners Bay area where you’ll find a whole range of exciting indoor activities to suit any interest (and all kinds of weather). Here’s our top picks.

Dullboy’s Social Co
A great all-in-one option for fun activities and a fuss-free dinner. Choose between classic arcade games, dodgem cars, mini golf or bowling and once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to The Diner for their take on classic American fare mixed with typical pub-style meals. ‘Barcadia’ is their classic art deco style bar mixed with an 80s arcade, where you can sip cocktails and challenge a mate to a game of Street Fighter. Groups can also hire a karaoke room to truly get the party started.

Hunter Ice Skating Stadium
Friday nights and weekends are a great time to head to the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium when the rink is open to the public. You can rent skates at the centre or bring your own, and there are always plenty of special events happening. Head along to a Newcastle Northstars ice hockey game or watch the figure skaters. They offer fully-catered children’s parties and group bookings too, and there’s an onsite cafe so you can warm up with a coffee or bite to eat.

Inflatable World
You’ve all probably taken the kids to somewhere like Inflatable World, but did you jump in too or sit quietly on the sidelines? Embrace your inner child and have a turn on the range of inflatable structures at Inflatable World. From giant slides and obstacle courses, to jumping castles and dueling, the whole family will be well and truly worn out but pumping with endorphins after a few hours here.

Beginners are more than welcome, with climbs designed to suit all levels of experience, and staff on hand to show you the ropes (literally!) and how to land safely. If you’re wanting to make it a more regular part of your life, you can enroll in coaching sessions too. Coffee from Sprocket Roasters is also available for those who prefer to spectate.
